There are more than just photos here i promise!!! :P

I've got poetry, short stories, photos, and various photo manipulations. A pretty basic collection on dA for a girl my age =]

Yesterday was the eclipse, and to see if there was a way I could take a picture, I actually dragged out the box my camera came in, so i could check out the instruction manuel. While I was digging in the box, finding those useless plasitic doc things for my ipod shuffle and a cord that I'll never use, I also found a couple disks. One was a digital copy of the instruction manuel, the other was some kind of software for the computer/my camera (which I still haven't checked out), and the other was photo-play software. Curious but doubtful, I slipped it into my computer and noticed one of the three programs was Panorama Maker 4 (never heard of the thing, but I knew what a panorama was so it excited me). I downloaded it quickly and dug around my photos for something to test it on, but I gave up on panoramas a long time ago so there wasn't much.

But then I looked in my trash folder, and hit gold!

Last time I went to TX, my grandma showed me this AMAZING old house, a victorian mansion, and I took tons of pictures of it (that was before my fancy camera, but I was born with a photo-obsession). Anyway, there was plenty for me to put in the program, and VOILÁ! A panorama! After indulging myself in a short bit of squealing and clapping, I found as many possible panoramas as I could, and made at least 4 good ones, and one that was worth posting. (which I did, as an edit, its not very impressive, but its better than the original).

So yay! X)

[[if its not obvious, this is a crap journal, I was just tired of seeing the previous entry. I was still freaking thrilled at my discovery, but this is just a little sticker over an ugly picture]]

oh! btw, I'm going to TX again on the 2nd (not this saturday, but next... i think). just wanted to say that. I'm so excited, get to see my grandparents and my sister!

okay. i'm done.

Me, hmm... well I enjoy any type of art, and take pride in my imagination. Sports can be fun, but my lack of hand-eye coordination makes me appreciate walking much more. Especially when I'm on a trail and have my camera, maybe a friend or two.

I'm a bit antisocial, finding the company of a few friends much preferable to a large group. Even so, I can talk easily to people I don't know well, just don't stick me in a group of strangers if you want me to do anything but stare. Watching people is just more fun then stressing out and interacting with them. Of course, i'm a psych nut, trying to figure out how people tick is just fun.

Lets see. I'm a first time freshman at Sonoma State University in California's wine country. Missing home, but I know this was the right choice for me.

Current Residence: SSU, California
Favourite genre of music: I hate yoodling. Everything else, there's something I love. But.. I love my metal <3
Favourite style of art: poetry (dark)
Favourite cartoon character: Jerry (From 'Tom and Jerry' for the seriously deprived)
Personal Quote: Live with Love and Love your Life

Just one thing a married woman needs to know how to use — the rolling pin or the broom. I prefer a heavy, cast-iron fry pan — they're great on a man's head, no matter how thick the skull is.

Want you to know that you are amazing & you're my friend until my death. If I don't get this back, I understand. But, I have a game for you, once you read this letter, you must send it to 15 people, including the person that sent it to you . If you receive at least 3 back, you are loved. Nobody knows how important something is until...................they lose it. Tonight, right at 12:00a.m., the person you like is going to realize that they love you! Then, something is going to happen to you between 1:00 & 2:00a.m. Be ready for the greatest shock of your life. If you break this chain, you, you are going to have bad luck with love for a whole year. Send this to 15 people and see what happens ♥♥

On the contrary, death is the ultimate fairness. Rich and poor, young and old - all are equal in death. You would not like to see the Reaper Man play favorites.
